Case Study: New Source Review & Ozone Control
DGS attorneys represent major exploration and production companies in two pending rulemaking proceedings regarding ozone control along the Front Range and implementation of the EPA’s final revisions to the New Source Review program. The ozone control proceeding entails the imposition of new emission controls on natural gas compressor engines and other oil field engines, as well as controls on flash emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds from condensate storage tanks both at the wellhead and at compressor stations. We are working closely with the Colorado Oil & Gas Association, Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States and other operators with interests across the region on these issues, as well as other less formal proceedings.
