Case Study:  Statutory Limits on Damages

Colorado has adopted statutory limits on damages against doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases.  Representing hospitals in two appeals to the Colorado Supreme Court, we successfully defended the statutory limits against constitutional attacks by plaintiffs’ attorneys.
