Case Study: Exit Strategy
We assisted the shareholders of a privately held company in the development of their exit strategy of the company that they had owned and operated for approximately twenty years. With our advice and counsel, the owners were able to sell their equity in the company to a strategic buyer for $50 million, permitting some of the owners to fully liquidate their investment and allowing the remaining owners to continue managing the company. As part of the transaction, we negotiated employment agreements for the continuing owners to align their interests with those of the strategic buyers.
