Clyde O. Martz, retired senior of counsel in the natural resources department, joined the firm in June 1962, after serving for 15 years as a professor of natural resources law at the University of Colorado. Mr. Martz served as Assistant Attorney General of the Lands and Natural Resources Division of the United States Department of Justice (1967-69), as Solicitor of the Department of the Interior (1980-81), as mining law consultant to the President's Materials Policy Commission (1951), as consultant to the Public Land Law Review Commission (1968-69), and as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado (1971-75).
