Bio Sketch

David Hammond has been litigating cases since he joined the firm in 1979.  He has considerable litigation experience defending employers against all kinds of discrimination and common law claims.  He was the first attorney in the District of Colorado to successfully employ the Faragher/Ellerth affirmative defense to obtain a summary judgment for an employer in a sexual harassment case.  In addition, he regularly litigates cases involving alleged misappropriation of trade secrets, enforcement of covenants not to compete, breaches of fiduciary duties, and diversion of corporate opportunity.
